Bosch Realtime Clock Interface Module (RS485)

With the increase in use of access control functionality and automatic locking and unlocking of doors, a stable and accurate system time source is required to ensure the ongoing correct operation of timed functions. The control panel will automatically synchronise its internal clock to the CM760B when the module is fitted to the LAN bus and uses this as its time reference. Low battery monitoring is performed on the lithium backup battery every hour and a module fault will be displayed accordingly for low or missing battery conditions. Only one Real Time Clock module can be connected per system and it can be placed at any location on the system LAN, however it is recommended for ease that it be fitted in the same enclosure as the main control panel.
