The Scandinavian EL402 and EL502 lock cases have been designed for use in places with medium levels of traffic and no seal force or fire requirements making them ideal for many businesses, public buildings, schools, universities and apartment blocks.

The EL402 replaces the existing EL412 and EL413 as the ideal lock for slim-line doors. The adjustable backset gives the mechanism more versatility than ever before. The EL402 and its counterpart for wooden and metal door frames, the EL502, benefit from a wide operating voltage and a choice of fail lock or fail unlock to maintain safety or security in the building during a power cut. The EL404 has all the features and benefits of the EL402 but is compatible with euro profile cylinders.
