GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The PS-C25TB has a switch mode power supply with a
universal power input range of 100 240 VAC, 50/60
Hz, 1.5A AC input, and generates a 15V DC, 4A output
to the PM-05 power management module. The PM05 has two independent power channels outputs each
with an isolated PTC (self-resetting fuse), with one
channel connected to the MD-25TB and the second
channel available to power any device of your choice.
The MD-25TB isolates the lock from the Controller
Unit, securing lock functionality when the Controller
Unit is tampered with on the outside of the secure
premises. A proprietary two way protocol allows the
Controller Unit to activate the Lock/Auxiliary relays
and activate the built in speaker (for bell, chime, and
siren) in the Secure Module, while the Secure module
can also communicate REX input status to the
Controller Unit. If the data line between the Controller
Unit and the secure module is cut, the system detects
the data line has been tampered with and generates
a one-minute siren and closes the lock output.
Battery backup is available upon AC power failure, the
PM-05 module instantaneously (UPS) switches power
over to a standby 7AH sealed lead acid battery (not
included). The battery charging is managed by the
PM-05 with a low battery cut-off preventing batteries
from deep discharge.
